Pattern as the hero
Onyx and translucent quartzites have wildly varied veining, so the slab itself sets the tone of the room. Treat the panel like an artwork by giving it negative space, restrained surroundings, and a clean reveal. Surrounding finishes should support, not compete.

Scale and proportion
Thin vertical inserts read as architectural light lines, while wider panels read as feature surfaces. Match the proportions of the insert to the architecture: tall narrow reveals for staircases and hallways, broader panels for lobbies and feature walls. Always mock up the layout against door heights and ceiling lines.

Color temperature
OnyxEon panels use cool white (6000–6500K), which crisps the veining and reads modern. The cool tone keeps the stone's pattern sharp at any scale and integrates cleanly with contemporary architectural lighting plans. For warmer rooms, surrounding finishes and ambient sources can soften the overall mood without changing the panel's clarity.
